The Supply Chain Losses Manager is responsible for leading the efforts to reduce supply chain waste, including both identification of opportunities before product has met customer guarantee and once product moves into liquidation and donation categories.

This role will work across Supply Planning, Deployment, Customer Service, Finance and Inventory Controlling to drive reporting of waste risk and actuals. They will assist, with the support of the Director of Supply Chain Planning, in the definition and execution of Liquidation, Donation and Tankage processes. They will perform ad-hoc analyses, maintain and monitor and escalate waste trends and support/drive key improvement initiatives. Works under minimal supervision and exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action and escalations. Assists and leads driving change.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships to work collaboratively and ensure alignment with subject matter experts on key processes

  • Build relationships with prospective outlets for donation orders, assist with new customer setup processes as they are onboarded with the customer service team.

  • Assist in identifying liquidation outlets and working closely with sales on increasing liquidation volume.

  • Create an end-to-end supply chain losses process outlining weekly and monthly rituals and routines involving cross functional partners.

  • Resolves moderately complex issues, supports technical and operational processes in SAP and with 3PL partners

  • Receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments

  • Recommends streamlined processes and process improvements to senior staff members. Assists in driving change as needed.

  • Collaboration on priorities: Work closely with Director of Supply Chain Planning to ensure that priorities of work, key milestones, and road-blocks as well as wins are clearly communicated and tracked.

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:

Education and Experience

  • B.S. in SC Management or related fields

  • Minimum of 4+ years in supply chain functions, CPG industry experience preferred

  • Experience with SAP, SAP BW/AFO is a plus
