Job Description:

The Supervisor Mass Offers & Deals is responsible for partnering with US Mkting in assessing and executing Mass Offers & Deals.  In addition, the Supervisor, Mass Offers & Deals builds the business case and performs the post analysis, partnering closely with US Marketing to sell-in the strategy and report on the business case and performance to US SLT and key O/O leadership groups.  Additionally, this role will analyze the ST (tactic level) and LT (baseline / value perception impact) of these strategies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support tactic/initiative business case development and post reporting for all Nat’l Mass Offers (e.g. Flash offers) & Deals (e.g. $5 Meal Deal) (note: for local - this isn’t supporting every local business case - this is a supporting role for local).  Additionally, analyze longer term impacts from activation of the lever (e.g. baseline, value perception).

  • Supports setting of National & Local Promotion & Deal discounting guardrails and recommendations

  • Evaluates local strategies, understands what agencies are sharing with BU’s (projections/results), supports financial assessment/data sharing across markets, and ensures adherence to guardrails/recommendations

  • VDAP support (in partnership with Business owner from Marketing)

  • Support assessment to define Mkt level requirements on VDAP

  • Ensuring Scamper (or equivalent future tool) is appropriately populated/functioning to provide reporting/insights to drive recommendations

  • Evaluate return on mass promo spend (including local), and work with cross lever lead to set "budget?

  • Evaluates "copy split" approach/business case for mass national deals as needed (e.g. when not all BU’s set defined KPI thresholds for the tactic/lever)

  • Supports Value Committee, DVST, MEC and PE3 Taskforce

The expected salary range for this role is $87,050 - $108,810 / per year
