Job Description

• Will be reporting to the Senior PM and Principal on projects

• Collaborate with geotechnical, architectural and MEP project members to complete project

• Will develop structural design calculations, structural analysis/research, specifications and structural drawings

• Apply ACI, AISC and IBC building codes, PCI & PTI Design Guidelines to the design of foundations, superstructures, and related building components

• May assist with site visits with reviewing testing/inspection/field reports

• Will be working with Lead Structural Engineer to provide structural research/analysis reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering, or equivalent, is required; Master's Degree is a plus

• Must have EIT certification and on track towards PE

• 5 or more years of post-graduation structural experience

• Post-graduate experience working within building systems with architectural/engineering firms

• Experience must be within US standards

• Experience working on commercial, healthcare, industrial and/or utilities projects

• Proficiency in Revit and basic understanding of AutoCAD

• Knowledge of ACI, AISC and IBC building codes, PCI & PTI Design Guidelines

• Experience/knowledge of the structural design of concrete including precast, conventional and post-tensioned cast-in-place, structural steel and masonry

• Experience with wind/seismic analysis, spread footing, and deep and shallow retention walls

• Must be local
