Our Protective Design practice helps architects, owners, developers, and public agencies worldwide achieve security objectives while upholding each project\'s aesthetic, functional and budgetary goals. The Role

We have an opportunity for a Structural Engineer for our Protective Design and Security Practice.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and coordinate with clients and consultants to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and expectations.
• Coordinates, guides, and checks the preparation of construction documents with staff, clients, and internal quality staff.
• Determines project, design, calculations, and construction specifications for blast design.
• Preparation of construction documents within a BIM environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in engineering . Master\'s degree preferred.
• All candidates must be able to obtain a security clearance. Applicant must be a citizen of the country of which they are applying to obtain a security clearance.
• Ability and willingness to travel within the US and internationally.

Compensation

The rate for this position generally is\$75,000-\$90,000annually.This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the Illinois State Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful Illinois State applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in Illinois State or perform the position from Illinois State. Similar positions located outside of Illinois State will not necessarily receive the same compensation.Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted byIllinoisEqual Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee\'s pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
