Responsible for providing general accounting and internal control support for all compensation calculations, entries and analysis. This includes completion of the close and ensuring that the general ledger account balances are accurate. Responsible for providing management with key analytics on compensation and working closely with other departments.

Job Description:

• Prepare and record journal entries in general ledger related to compensation and benefits

• Perform data balancing activities, reconciliation and analysis of related ledger accounts

• Assist in the month end, quarter end, and year end close process

• Provide audit support for quarterly and year-end audits

• Prepare analysis on compensation and incentive programs

• Work closely with HR Compensation team, Payroll and FP& A team

• Review and recommend enhancements to the compensation and close process

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Microsoft Excel experience desired

  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

  • Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment

  • High attention to detail

  • Vow to meet business deadlines

  • Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision

  • Proficient in ERP systems

  • BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

  • Recent and relevant accounting experience

  • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required

  • Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions

  • Competent with spreadsheets and databases
