Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Software Engineer in the financial services industry, based in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be tasked with developing, modifying, and maintaining various applications and programs, collaborating with Agile teams, and working on complex issues related to production level code defects or process changes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify applications or specialized utility programs using .NET, C#, REST, and Angular Framework (ver 11+).

• Utilize your knowledge of the financial industry, particularly with MuleSoft, to contribute to our projects.

• Collaborate with Agile teams using full stack software development tools and technologies.

• Analyze business needs and develop software solutions to optimize member experience and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate on designing application database solutions and participate in database development efforts across the organization.

• Work on the development of applications, including design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of simple to moderately complex software applications and subsystems.

• Utilize Agile techniques in refinement, planning, estimating, and completion of assignments.

• Identify and implement solutions to complex issues related to production level code defects or process changes.

• Leverage your skills in Atlassian Jira, Backend Development, Business Logic, Client Side Scripting, Cloud Technologies, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Ajax, API Development, ASP.NET, Mulesoft development, MuleSoft, Agile frameworks, and Agile Software Development. Requirements • Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project management and issue tracking.

• Extensive experience in backend development including database management and server-side scripting.

• Ability to design and implement business logic for complex financial systems.

• Expertise in client-side scripting to enhance user experience and interaction.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.

• Experience in conducting AB Testing to optimize system performance.

• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology and ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.

• Proficiency in using Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications.

• Experience in API development, including RESTful and SOAP services.

• Proficiency in ASP.NET and the .NET Framework for application development.

• Experience with Mulesoft development, including designing and developing APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

• Understanding of Agile frameworks and principles, and ability to apply them in software development processes.

• Experience in Agile Software Development, including planning, estimation, and iterative delivery. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
