Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Consultant located in Chicago, Illinois. The focus of this role is largely centered around e-commerce capability mapping within the travel, hospitality, and leisure industry. As a Sr. Consultant, you would be directly interacting with various team members and handling various tasks related to e-commerce reservations, business capabilities, and website applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage e-commerce capability mapping for travel, hospitality, and leisure sector

• Develop and maintain connections between business capabilities, applications, and microservices for the website

• Undertake direct data mapping within DataDog, integrating various data sources and testing functionalities

• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of DataDog for mapping dependencies using DataDog Service Map

• Integrate Kubernetes clusters into DataDog

• Leverage your experience with data integration on AWS or on-premise platforms

• Employ your full-stack development experience to gain an edge in handling the responsibilities

• Monitor and take appropriate action on customer accounts. Requirements • Proven experience as a Sr. Consultant or similar role

• Proficient in Datadog and AWS integrations

• Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic approach

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Ability to develop strong relationships with clients

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

• Proficient in project management software and methodologies

• Strong team leadership skills

• Exceptional analytical skills to evaluate business procedures and recommend improvements

• Ability to provide insightful, constructive and comprehensive feedback to help others excel

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred

• Relevant industry certification is a plus

• Exceptional knowledge of data analysis and research techniques
