RESPONSIBILITIES;
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. This role is essential for R&D Packaging to support driving cost-saving qualifications and managing the transition of packaging suppliers as part of our Transform & Modernize (T&M) program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, data analysis, and effective communication.
Qualification Backlog Management: Drive qualification progress and track value realized by packaging category. Maintain and prioritize qualification backlogs, ensuring visibility and accountability.
Qualification Impediment Removal: Diagnose systemic issues, gather data, and lead conversations with key stakeholders to resolve or work around major obstacles.
Packaging Bid Support: Serve as the liaison between R&D, Purchasing, and the Accenture bid team to incorporate appropriate requirements and costs into the bidding process for new packaging categories.
Effectively Running Meetings: Set agendas, facilitate conversations, and drive towards resolution while remaining impartial in disputes.
Structured Note Taking: Take effective notes and summarize key decisions and next steps from meetings and discussions.
Business Writing and Presentation: Address audiences at different levels of management, expressing challenges and decisions at the right level of detail.
Data Analysis: Apply data analysis to a variety of structured and unstructured data sources to support Packaging Bid Support work.
Level of position will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in packaging or a related industry.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead challenging conversations and present findings to diverse audiences.
Experience with supplier qualification processes and managing cross-functional teams.
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred
3+ years experience in project management, preferably in packaging or a related industry.
Experience with the food industry or consumer packaged goods.
Familiarity with procurement and supplier management.
Knowledge of quality control and regulatory requirements for packaging materials.
Location: Global Headquarters, Austin MN preferred. Also open to our Corporate Offices in Willmar, MN and Chicago, IL. This role may qualify for a remote work location and will be evaluated and determined per application.
Relocation is eligible for this role for preferred location only.
The base pay range is $83,000 to $152,00 per year; however, actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
