Overview

The Senior Associate, Investment is responsible for executing strategies developed by Managers and Associate Directors including negotiating scatter needs, analyzing the need for AD weight, and implementing allocation and billing tools to facilitate smooth transition from buy to air. Providing training and guidance of the Associates in all aspects of their responsibilities is critical.

Responsibilities

Role Objectives:

  • Negotiate cable purchases

  • Create recommendation documents

  • Develop and deliver POV/position papers on key issues/opportunities

  • Oversee brand allocations and corporate ownership

  • Manage Tardiis allocations

  • Oversee billing discrepancies

  • Check that schedules are inputted correctly

  • Create documents for Mission Control

  • Review/assist in post buy analysis

  • Analyze ADU packages

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of traditional media buying expertise, national broadcast preferred

  • Experience in media buying tools like Prisma, preferred

  • Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills

  • Acquisition and branding background and familiarity/proficiency with the following systems/tools:

  • Mediaocean, MBox

  • Nielsen Net Rating, Comscore, AdRelevance, eMarketer, Forrester, etc.

  • Third-party ad measurement and traffic tools (e.g. Integral Ad Science)

  • PowerPoint, Excel, Word

  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work successfully with teams, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines under pressure

  • Detail-oriented and able to produce accurate work

  • Demonstrates leadership skills

Compensation Range: $49,305 - $65,415 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
