Job Summary

Program of research in developmental psychopathology spans several developmental periods and phenotypes. The integrative thread running through each study is the aim of identifying the earliest appearing individual differences that connote risk for poor health. The work is designed to be relevant to the the development of prevention interventions. She is specifically interested in the study of the type and timing of stress exposure on health outcomes and developing scalable targets that can reduce health disparities for racial and sexual minority populations.

Responsibilities

  • Subject interviews for observational studies.
  • Working with large datasets for data entry and analysis.
  • Coordinate work schedules on a quarterly basis.
  • Collaborating with interns in goal-setting and on-going evaluation of the goals.
  • Lab protocols and platforms.
  • Meeting on a weekly basis to check in on projects and goals.
  • Coordinating with study sponsors.
  • Writing and/or editing manuscripts and presenting research.
  • Provides technical and administrative support for a research project.
  • Collects and enters data. Assists in analyzing data. Assists with preparation of reports, manuscripts and other documents.
  • May assist recruiting and scheduling research subjects; assisting with developing or amending study protocols; assisting with developing data collection tools; assisting with building databases; and providing general administrative support. Is developing skills in research techniques or methods, regulatory policies and procedures, and relevant scientific field.
  • Performs other related work as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Minimum requirements include vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field (not typically required to have a four-year degree).

Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience:

  • Prior experience in clinical research and work in mental health.
  • Experience with human subjects behavioral testing.

Technical Skills or Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
