Summary:

Under the direction of the Department Manager, this position will undertake a variety of administrative and program management tasks. The program coordinator will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks, tracking budget expenditures and transactions. Responsible for supporting the divisions of OBGYN (ROG), Complex Family Planning (CFP), Family Planning and Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery (MIGS). Function as coordinator for OBGYN Grand Rounds organizing and coordinating speakers.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the following divisions and their directors for Rush OBGYN, Complex Family Planning (CFP) and Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery (MIGS). Supports division directors and all providers for these teams. Organizes all meetings, agenda items and coordination of speakers. Manages multiple calendars requiring extensive attention to detail.

  • Tracks budget expenditures and transactions. •Serves as primary contact for creating and maintaining all call schedules for the department of OBGYN.

  • Organizes and coordinates speakers for OBGYN Grand Rounds. •Marketing editor for Find My Doc website for the department. •Provides advanced support in managing the credentialing and recredentialing for the division.

  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 2 years administrative/coordinator program experience

  • Organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize information.

  • Strong critical thinking skills to solve problems and make decisions.

  • Ability to set goals and manager multiple complicated takes.

  • Ability to work effective both independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
