Position Purpose

We’re seeking spirited “can do” people to join our Warehouse team in the exciting world of hazmat compliance. Experience in Production Assembly Inventory Control is preferred. This is a fast paced environment and requires a great attitude, attention to detail, punctuality and great quality control. Your ability to collaborate with others, communicate, and be dependable are all crucial for this job and able to stand for the whole day.

Production Assembly Inventory Control Specialist is hands-on and has experience with various inventory related functions. As a key contributor with ownership in auditing and maintaining inventory controls, this role is responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels through ensuring daily transactions within the ERP System accurate. Daily work assignments will include cycle counts, bin audits, receipt of inbound materials, research and review for discrepancies, adjustments, all related NCP processing, reporting, and maintaining the integrity of inventory storage locations always. Provides training to others and ensures back-up coverage when out of the building.

  1. Essential Functions & Principal Accountabilities
  • Responsible for all inventory related functions. Working with Department Leadership.

  • Good understanding of Raw Materials and assists with raw material inventories as needed

  • Responsible for all reporting and communication related to inventory.

  • Provides feedback to leadership and reports discrepancies and employee training gaps.

  • Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.

  • Research and resolve all keyed issues, adjustments, and discrepancies. Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures.

  • Accountable for NCP Processing completed timely

  • Reconcile daily unexpected back orders

  • Coordinates and participate in annual physical inventories.

  • Completes inbound transactions.

  • Communicates potential quality issues to Purchasing, QA and Accounting teams.

  • Meets productivity and accuracy goals

  • Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.

  • Compiles daily adjustments at month end and reports to direct report manager.

  • Works with other departments to help achieve corporate goals & promote company policy

  • Company ISO quality program.

  • Meets productivity and accuracy goals.

  • Assists with development of new ideas and initiatives to improve efficiencies.

  1. Education/Training/Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.

  • 2+ years inventory experience preferred.

  • Mechanically inclined training or experience preferred.

  • Forklift Experience Required.

  1. Technology
  • MS Office preferred, Windows, Word, Excel & Access

  • Experience with ERP systems (IE. MS 365 Business Central, MS Dynamics Navision, Oracle, SAP)

  • RF Scanning

  • Good keyboarding skills

  1. Essential Physical Demands
  • Lift and/or move materials up to 35lbs.

  • Pushing, pulling and/or carrying up to 35lbs

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
