Key Responsibilities:

  • Ability to manage a large-scale project - tracking budget, creating project plan, performing team delivery, scheduling meetings with partners, and track work you're doing.

  • Ability to understand IT concepts. Some development background or SDLC concepts are great to have.

  • Dedicated: Being able to learn the business, coordinate with different teams and find solutions to challenges and risks.

  • Risk awareness: Ability to raise potential risks with project timeline and work you're doing.

  • Being able to create presentations and articulate project progress, timelines, road mapping.

  • Expertise in project planning tools. Ability to learn new tools.

  • PMP or other certification is a nice to have.

  • Prior knowledge of airline is a plus.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business related field

  • Experience working with multi-functional, global teams to deliver commitments on-time and on-budget

  • 5+ years of software product management

  • Solid knowledge of product management standard methodologies, functional design and application delivery methodology

  • Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for specific products

  • Ability to develop product line processes and strategies

  • Strong multi-tasker, demonstrable experience handling multiple roles and projects simultaneously

  • Excellent analysis, problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong planning & organizational skills

  • Good communication skills - verbal, written and presentation

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and TFS

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Experienced with both agile and waterfall

  • Experience using JIRA

  • Knowledge of project management methodology and some project management

  • Aviation industry knowledge
