We are currently seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to utilize and expand their application development skills!

The responsibilities for this position include:

  • Design, build, and deploy custom applications using Power Apps to meet business requirements.

  • Develop user-friendly interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience using React and Power Apps technology.

  • Develop REST API's utilizing C# .NET.

  • Integrate Power Apps with various data sources, including SharePoint, Common Data Service, SQL Server, and external APIs.

  • Monitor workflows for performance and reliability, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security.

  • Debug issues and implement solutions to enhance application performance.

  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business processes that can be automated.

  • Provide training and ongoing support to end-users.

  • Create documentation and user manuals for applications.

    This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid schedule with the expectation of 3 days per week in the office, and 2 days remote from home.

Qualifications

This position requires:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with others.

  • Continuous learning - stay updated with the latest features and updates in the Power Platform.

  • Five years of experience in the following:

  • Proficiency in building canvas and model-driven Power Apps.

  • Experience in creating Power Automate workflows and understanding triggers/actions.

  • Ability to integrate various services and APIs.

  • C# .NET

  • Microsoft Azure Services and Functions.

  • HTML/CSS for UI customizations.

  • Understanding of common data service (Dataverse) and data connectors.

  • Proficient in data modeling, entity creation, and business rules.

  • Familiarity with data modeling and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).

  • Knowledge in creating PowerBI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

  • Ability to create Power Virtual Agents chatbots and integrate them with existing services.

  • Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400)

  • Additional certifications in related areas, such as Azure or Microsoft 365, can be beneficial.
