Job Description

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: Pick, fill, pack sales orders and maintain storage area. Assemble and pack various products in the assembly plant.

SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Pick, fill, pack and ship federal and commercial sales orders.

• Assist in assembly projects throughout the assembly plant.

• Adhere to safety rules and procedures, provide a safe, clean and well organized work environment by correcting and/or reporting safety issues or suspected pilferage to supervisors.

• Acquire additional skills through cross training to gain versatility and the ability to perform other jobs as needed.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

SPECIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• Six months of previous shipping experience preferred.

• Ability to set priorities and work independently is required.

• Basic typing and computer skills are required as well as the ability to solve simple addition and subtraction math problems.

• Good reading, writing and communication skills as well as familiarity with sales order forms and other pertinent shipping documents are necessary.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move pallets required on an intermittent basis.
