Robert Half is searching for a full-time Litigation Paralegal in Chicago, Illinois. Your role will be pivotal in the organization of files, drafting and execution of legal documents, and maintaining constant communication with clients. This is a hybrid position of 3 days in office and 2 remote days each week.

Responsibilities:

• Organize files in a systematic manner for easy access and retrieval.

• Draft pleadings, disclosures, interrogatories, discovery requests, and motions, ensuring all documents are accurate and complete.

• Assist in the preparation for trials and document execution, providing vital support to the legal team.

• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and addressing any issues or concerns.

• Perform various legal support tasks, contributing to the smooth functioning of the legal department.

• Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence through electronic and paper mail, ensuring all communications are responded to in a timely manner.

• Initiate and track the status of medical records requests, ensuring all requests are fulfilled as required.

• Review and organize large volumes of records for litigation, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.

• Ensure all medical documents are in order and updated as needed, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency.

• Utilize various software including Adobe Acrobat, Case Management Software, LexisNexis, Management System, and Microsoft Excel to complete tasks and manage records effectively.

  Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 3+ years experience in a paralegal role

• Have experience in Trial Preparation

• Excellent communication skills to manage Client communications

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Ability to maintain confidential information
