Job Description:

This opportunity is part of the Global Cyber Security (GCS) Team, where our mission is to embed cybersecurity culture into McDonald’s DNA to fortify the System against cyber threats through proactive defense, relentless innovation, and strategic collaboration. This Manager level role will be part of GCS and Global Technology, and is focused on Communications and Operations for the organization.

 

The Manager, Operations Excellence (Partner Enablement), GCS will report to the Director, Operations Excellence and will be responsible for managing collaboration between various partner departments (e.g., Finance, Legal, HR, GTIO) to facilitate strategies within GCS  and execute them on behalf GCS teams / leaders . This role will serve as a strategic advisor to the GCS  team and instrumental to the overall health and operations of the department.

  • Strong analytical skills to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources

  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflict

  • Ability to validate data obtained via other techniques and expose new areas for elicitation

  • Exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to build and grow connections with people of all types and backgrounds from all over the world

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including the ability to influence multiple parties towards common goals

  • Highly collaborative along with independent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep many engagements active at once

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to navigate uncertainty

  • Naturally elevates others and creates a culture of belonging through engaging high-performing team 

EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ years of technology capability experience across multiple IT practices that may include infrastructure leadership, service management leadership, technology operations, data management and business relationship management

  • 5+ years experience in partnering with senior/executive level resources to produce product roadmaps

  • Hands on exposure to following areas/tools:

  • MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint especially)

  • Smartsheet

  • Data visualization (PowerBI, Tableau)

  • Process mapping/design (Visio, Miro, Roadmunk)

  • Have orchestrated a digital transformation to help improve an organization’s product vision and how to scale at an enterprise/global level

  • Familiar with best practices for chargeback models and shared services

  • Strong experience in process improvement, with an emphasis on analytics and process management (prior experience with Lean and Six Sigma tools preferred)

  • Ability to generate compelling business cases and translate to action

  • Bachelor's degree Computer Science/Engineering/Technology
