Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
Ensure electrical systems and connections are safe and running at utmost efficiency. Troubleshoot and coordinate electrical issues with machines and Maintenance, and handle fault messages. Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, routine maintenance, and necessary repairs. Address hardware connection issues and software glitches specific to presses, uncoilers, and straighteners. Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, and voltage. Repair and maintain both new and older systems, including industrial fans and giant motors. Maintain logs, record labor, materials, and equipment used. Responsible for calibrating and checking instruments. Make advanced repairs and adjustments to electrical devices and basic mechanical repairs. Perform advanced preventative maintenance on all machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems successfully. Read and interpret specifications and blueprints. Install, service, and repair conduits, wiring, and fixtures. Work with programmable logic/automation control.

Essential Skills
4-5 years of electrical maintenance experience
Exposure to Allen Bradley PLC
Advanced knowledge of AC/DC motor drives, SLC Controllers, and circuits
Ability to run conduit
Electrical and mechanical experience
Experience with industrial machinery
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience with PLCs and slitter machines
Preventive maintenance expertise
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with industrial machinery maintenance repair
Skills in electrical troubleshooting
Experience with 3-phase systems

Work Environment
Shifts available: 1st shift 6am-2pm, 2nd shift 2pm-10pm, 3rd shift 10pm-6am. The position is on the 3rd shift (10pm-6am) with training on 1st shift (6am-2pm) for up to 3 months. Work may include some overtime, including some Saturdays. The maintenance team consists of 15 people (5 per shift). The dress code includes jeans and long sleeves.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $40.00
