Job Description:

Accountable for helping to design and deliver integrated credit solutions and for underwriting, structuring and negotiating these solutions regionally or within a specific Leasing business. Partner closely with client-facing teammates in both the Global Corporate Bank and Global Commercial Bank to consult on sales opportunities, and provide the product expertise and consultation necessary to deliver the best possible solution to the client.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing a team of credit professionals supportingaCommercialEquipment Finance national portfolio for Bank of America’s Global Leasing group, determining credit appetite and tailored strategies for commercial clientsalongside partners in credit, sales, and risk management.

  • Responsible of combined coverage in select markets, resulting in coverage of larger corporate company profiles reporting $500MM - $2Bn in annual revenues

  • Management of the evaluation and underwriting of new commercial equipment finance transactions, including the identification of all strengths, weaknesses, and risks – including credit risk, market risk, operational risk – as well as the associated mitigating factors

  • Oversees the monitoring of credits throughout equipment line availability period to observe for emerging risks and offer direction & strategy during periods of credit deterioration through sound credit & equipment finance expertise which has led to favorable asset quality with minimal charge-offs

  • Offers proactive, client focused equipment finance solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years commercial equipment finance leasing experience

  • 2+ yrs of leadership or mentoring experience

  • Ability to motivate and influence teams and business partners

  • Knowledge of commercial equipment financing from a credit underwriting perspective

  • Excellent credit and risk analysis skills – ability to identify trends and risks in portfolio and in underwriting and client selection

  • Excellent presentation, structuring, and financial statement analysis skills

  • Must have sufficient Microsoft Office skills

  • Must be results oriented and able to accomplish objectives in a specified timeframe

Minimum Education Requirement: Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or related major required.
