Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Audio/Video, Cabling, and Digital Signage Technician to join our team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems, cabling infrastructure, and digital signage solutions in various settings such as corporate offices, conference rooms, retail environments, and public spaces.Key Responsibilities:Audio/Video Systems Installation and Maintenance:
Install, configure, and maintain audio and video systems, including projectors, displays, microphones, speakers, and other AV equipment.
Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and resolve issues promptly.
Assist in the design and setup of AV systems based on project requirements.
Configure and integrate AV systems with network devices and control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron).
Cabling Infrastructure:
Install and manage structured cabling systems (Cat5, Cat6, fiber optics) to support AV, networking, and digital signage systems.
Ensure proper labeling, organization, and documentation of cabling.
Perform cable terminations and test cabling systems to confirm proper functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve cabling issues related to signal interference or malfunction.
Digital Signage Installation and Configuration:
Set up and deploy digital signage displays and related software, including screen setups, media players, and network configurations.
Configure content management systems (CMS) and support the loading of media for digital signage displays.
Monitor and maintain signage systems to ensure continuous operation and content display.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the digital signage network or individual displays.
Client Interaction and Support:
Work closely with clients to understand their AV and digital signage needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Provide on-site training and technical support to clients on how to use and maintain AV systems and digital signage platforms.
Assist clients with system upgrades, replacements, and repairs when necessary.
Project Documentation and Reporting:
Document all installations, configurations, and troubleshooting activities.
Maintain accurate records of all AV and digital signage systems, including serial numbers, warranties, and service history.
Prepare and submit reports to management on job status, project milestones, and completion.
Quality Control and Compliance:
Ensure installations and system configurations adhere to industry standards and safety regulations.
Conduct periodic audits of systems to ensure functionality and performance.
Perform system calibration and ensure compliance with audiovisual and signage specifications.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of AV equipment (displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, etc.) and their integration.
Experience with structured cabling installation (Cat5, Cat6, fiber).
Working knowledge of digital signage systems, CMS, and media player setups.
Familiarity with control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX) is a plus.
Basic understanding of networking concepts, IP-based devices, and configuration.
Soft Skills:
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Work Environment:
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, including offices, retail spaces, educational facilities, and public venues.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of work experience.
Experience with Hardware Troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems, cabling infrastructure, and digital signage solutions in various settings
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
