Skills and Requirements

5 year of experience engineering and administering DAM tools (i.e. IBM Guardium)

In-depth knowledge of Guardium architecture, components, and features.

Need to help validate deployments, analyze database traffic, and ability to create reports for database activity incidents

Experience with GIM/STAP deployments and appliance patching

Understanding of Guardium security policies and rules

Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems, as Guardium can be deployed on both.

Database Management Systems (DBMS): Understanding of various database platforms such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, PostgreSQL, etc.

Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and other security measures to ensure secure data transmission within the Guardium environment.

Understanding of industry compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) and ability to implement controls to meet these requirements using Guardium.

Troubleshooting and Debugging: Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues related to Guardium deployment, configuration, and performance. null
