As our Health Information Specialist , you will help maintain accurate and confidential health records for our providers and patients. Every day you will review, research, update, and organize medical record information to ensure complete and accurate records. To thrive in this role, you must be familiar with medical terminology, computer savvy, and organized with previous work experience with a health care provider.

Here’s what you will experience working as a HIM Associate:

• Review data for accuracy and contact physician offices to retrieve or confirm data

• Review incoming correspondence and assign appropriate task

• Match provider specialty information with clinical information

• Maintain compliance and confidentiality standards

Required Skills:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Computer skills including navigating different systems, data entry, and Excel formulas

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $14.69 - $19.30 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
