Key Responsibilities:
The Engine Asset Manager is responsible for ensuring spare availability for assigned fleet of engines/APUs at point of need and to connect with partners. They forecast engine and APU removals, productions, and spare line-of-balance. Additionally, they support the organization with build work instructions for EBUs and suppliers, lead spares allocation. Up to 25% travel is required.
Ensure spare availability for assigned fleet of engines/APUs at point of need
Including work scope meetings and TIS and SWO development
Maintain engine removal, production, and spare line-of-balance forecasts
Handle engine data
Prepare analysis and reports for leadership and partner review
Support development of financial forecasts in collaboration with other partners
Provide project management for engine “programs” (hardware upgrade/replacement, etc.) to mitigate operational impact
Ensuring A/C schedule, labor and parts availability are all ready to support
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business
3+ years’ experience in aircraft or engine maintenance.
Knowledge of jet engine maintenance including overhaul events
Detailed understanding of jet engine components
Ability to read and understand maintenance requirements
Strong discernment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Understanding of the Engine Planning system
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position

Master's degree or equivalent experience
MBA, MS Engineering
Airframe and Powerplant License
Experience building forecasts and doing analysis
Experience leading teams through indirect influence
Process improvement experience
Strong interpersonal and continuous improvement skills
SCEPTRE and EMS experience
The base pay range for this role is $87,780.00 to $119,680.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
