YOUR ROLE

  • Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), perform quality electrical/mechanical preventive maintenance as necessary to ensure peak operating condition and equipment reliability to minimize any down time related to equipment failure.

  • Troubleshoot and perform professional electrical/mechanical repairs on various types of process, utility, and facility equipment including but not limited to: motors, conveyors, homogenizers, electrical systems, pneumatic tools and hydraulic equipment.

  • Source replacement parts and perform repairs

  • Assess the condition of used parts using micrometers, calipers and specifications.

YOUR SKILLS

  • 5 years’ experience and certification in a minimum of one of the following: Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Drive, Fluid Power, or Industrial Controls. Candidate must have a vocational certificate in electromechanics. A certification from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies is preferred.

  • Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance and calibration required.

  • Welding (fabrication and repair) required.

  • Must have intermediate computer skills (email/word processing/computer navigation); experience with SAP preferred.

  • Must be able to troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC's.

  • Electrical Apprenticeship completion with certificate preferred.

  • Familiar with OSHA compliance requirements.

The salary for this role is $40.90.
