Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a 3+ year Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide design leadership and expertise in applicable codes and standards. Responsibilities include the preparation and supervision of contract documents, including schematic design, design development, and final construction drawings and specifications. You will deliver accurate and thorough code-compliant designs that meet industry standards within budget constraints. Additionally, you will review and conduct complex electrical technical studies and prepare high-caliber reports. Proficiency with the construction process and constructability issues is essential. You will resolve site construction issues, attend site meetings, and perform site inspections during the construction phase of projects. Reviewing internal and external designs for code compliance, good design practice, and constructability, along with performing quality assurance and quality control tasks on projects, will be key aspects of this role.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Chicago, Illinois and some days remote.

Work Environment

They are an office of about 23 people in Chicago - all Engineers. They work from home 3 days and are in the office 2 days. Projects mainly include educational, high rises, residential, commercial, city of Chicago, Chicago housing, and police.
