KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Customer & Operations for our Consulting (https://advisory.kpmg.us/) practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Help to develop, sell and deliver Revenue Cycle and Revenue Optimization service offerings

  • Lead and train high-performing teams comprised of resources across service lines including process, technology and analytics talent to deliver complex transformational, enterprise-wide engagements from assessments through strategy / visioning, design and implementation as well as change management and communication planning

  • Demonstrate strong functional knowledge of the health provider value chain and both deliver as well as act as a subject matter professional across provider transformation projects

  • Support the development of new business through relationship building and project proposal efforts

  • Drive team performance, quality delivery and profitability through effective time management, resource allocation, project management, project budget management, scope management and issue resolution

  • Participate in continual development and publication of thought leadership and service offerings

Qualifications:

  • Minimum nine years of recent consulting experience in health provider industry or executive level experience working in a health provider organization, Big 4 experience preferred

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university, Masters preferred

  • Direct experience in leading large transformation projects which includes managing complex project budgets and timelines, significant stakeholder engagement and management and understanding complex regulatory issues

  • Ability to identify business opportunities, attract new business and build lasting professional relationships with senior client executives and relevant skills in project management with hands-on experience

  • Demonstrated understanding of healthcare reform and other key industry trends/drivers (value-based care, medical management, health provider operational efficiency, interoperability, consumerism, etc.)

  • Excellent consulting skills such as analytical, critical thinking, written and verbal communication, client presence along with facilitation and presentation skills and demonstrates and encourages innovative thinking

  • Willing to travel up to 80%
