GE Healthcare Sr Director - AI Product Management in Chicago, Illinois

Job Description Summary

As Director of AI Product Management for GE HealthCare Global Services, you will lead the exploration, research, and implementation of AI technologies within our products. You’ll identify areas of our products and workflow that can be enhanced by AI and work with designers and engineers to implement AI solutions. You’ll lead and implement the strategy and vision of product/services and collaborate with senior leaders across orgs to align plans, product roadmap and strategies.

In this role, you will manage the solution offerings throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, providing the product direction per the customer value propositions and market viability.

Job Description

Role/Responsibilities

  • Lead product management for a set of key features within GE HealthCare Services. This may include building work back plans and identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks and dependencies to achieve established annual and long-range goals for the business OR leading program management for cross product or cross market initiatives.

  • Leverage data, user research, competitive and market analysis to help define and execute AI strategy and roadmap, balancing short-term deliverables and long-term vision. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the AI strategy with the most important needs of our customers.

  • Create a cross-functional roadmap, defining features and technical specifications for our AI tools and the workflow associated with them. This includes defining requirements, working closely with the data science and engineering teams, managing project execution, and iterating on new features and products post-launch.

  • Provide thought leadership on AI technologies, and work across the organization to help teams leverage AI capabilities to improve our products and operational processes.

  • Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, including business teams, data scientists, engineers, product managers, and senior leadership, to ensure alignment on objectives, deliverables, and timelines and to deliver on those plans.

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of AI initiatives. Use data to inform decision-making, prioritize efforts, and communicate progress and results to stakeholders.

  • Work with communications, content, and marketing teams to strengthen our brand messaging.

  • Exercise strong judgment to balance speed with a high-quality and scalable end-to-end operator. Iterate quickly, test new ideas, and analyze results.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering

  • 6+ years of product management with a minimum of 10+ years of related industry experience and 2+ years of experience in a hyper-growth environment

  • Experience in Service Industry

  • Experience leading multiple product development cycles from concept to scale

  • Experience defining product requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives.

  • Experience in GTM planning

Desired Qualifications

  • MBA or experience at a VC

  • Marketing/product marketing experience with synthesizing technologies into product communication for broad audience including customers, media, analysts, and leading industry specialists

  • Experience in analytics and productization of AI

  • Experience with sales enablement including incentives and training
