Job Summary:

The Digital Merchandiser has primary responsibility for the execution of merchandising efforts on behalf of Paper Source eCommerce. This individual will work as part of a merchandising team, as well as in partnership with Merchandise Strategy, Category Management, Digital Operations, Digital Experience, Creative/Design, Email Marketing, and Product Data teams to ensure the highest level of eCommerce performance from designated product lines in support of the Paper Source brand and our business initiatives.

This role is based in the Chicago, Illinois office with at least 3 days per week in office.

What You Do:

• Implement and advise on onsite merchandising for covered product lines to drive revenue, margin, and performance goals.

• Partner with Merchandise Strategy and Category Management teams to ensure site/device merchandising is aligned with product priorities.

• Ensure product pages are optimized for the best customer experience to help drive conversion and build the basket.

• Respond to sudden changes in the business and its trends as needed to ensure best customer experience onsite and on device with regard to covered product lines.

• General merchandising maintenance of web pages, merchandising lists, promotions, and collection pages on website.

• Use analytics to develop an understanding of digital customer behavior along designated product lines and implement changes accordingly.

• Perform other tasks as needed.

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving atmosphere

• Must be highly motivated and organized with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs, as well as Adobe Analytics

• Book knowledge and experience with book product lines a plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
