Constellation Customer Success Analyst OR Senior Analyst - Remote in Chicago, Illinois

Analyst Level: Expected salary range of $70,200 to $78,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes commission and 401(k).

Senior Analyst Level: Expected salary range of $88,200 to $98,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes commission and 401(k).

LOCATION

This is a remote position. Candidates must reside in the United States and be willing to work a corporate, day-shift schedule on Eastern Standard Time or Central Standard Time.

Up to 10% travel is required, to attend in-office meetings as required. Our Ideal candidates will reside within commuting distance to one of our major office locations in Baltimore, MD; Chicago, IL; Kennett Square, PA; De Pere, WI; or Houston, TX for in-person meetings as needed.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Constellation Navigator team is looking for high potential employee focused on increasing the value we bring to customers, resulting in a differentiated experience and greater long-term value for Constellation. The Customer Success Analyst will actively work with the client during the on-boarding process and to help them best utilize the full capabilities of the Utility Bill Management and Carbon Accounting platforms. The Customer Success Analyst is the primary point of contact for the client.

This role will report to the Partnership Development & Commercialization Manager within Constellation’s Navigator team.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Serve as the primary point of contract for client interactions for Utility Bill Management and Carbon Accounting

  • Work closely with other cross functional teams to achieve service level goals and agreements

  • Explore up-selling opportunities with clients

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for existing and new platform features

  • Make efficiencies to processes as needed in order to enhance the customer experience

QUALIFICATIONS

CSM Analyst is developing or proficient, and the CSM Sr. Analyst has strong abilities of the characteristics/behaviors described under Primary Duties and Accountability.

Minimum Qualifications:

ANALYST LEVEL :

  • Bachelor’s degree with a record of academic achievement required

  • 2+ years of experience sales, sales support, customer success, inside sales, marketing, strategy consulting, or product / project management

  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with MS Excel

  • Strong presentation skills capable of presenting externally and internally to all levels of the organization.

  • A demonstrated ability of working cooperatively with all levels of management and staff but without direct authority

  • Strong presentation, and verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proactive, self-directed, and a strong work ethic with a sense of urgency and accountability to deliver results

SENIOR ANALYST LEVEL :

  • Bachelor’s degree with a record of academic achievement required

  • 5+ years of experience sales, sales support, customer success, inside sales, marketing, strategy consulting, or product / project management

  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency with MS Excel

  • Strong presentation skills capable of presenting externally and internally to all levels of the organization.

  • A demonstrated ability of working cooperatively with all levels of management and staff but without direct authority

  • Strong presentation, and verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proactive, self-directed, and a strong work ethic with a sense of urgency and accountability to deliver results

Preferred Qualification ( BOTH LEVELS ):

  • Energy industry customer support and/or utility billing experience, highly preferred

  • Prior experience providing inside sales, sales support, or customer support for customers on a SAAS or digital platform, highly preferred

  • Experience scaling new products or services in the organizations

  • Experience supporting new channels for distribution of technology products and services
