Our client, a dynamic and innovative company based in Chicago, is seeking a talented and visionary Creative Director to lead their creative team and oversee the development of high-quality, impactful designs and campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned creative professional who excels in blending artistic innovation with strategic vision, and who is eager to drive the creative direction across various projects and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, copywriters, and other creatives, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

• Develop and execute creative concepts and campaigns that align with the brand’s vision, goals, and values.

• Oversee the design and development of digital and print materials, including websites, advertisements, social media content, and product packaging.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and executive leadership, to ensure all creative deliverables are consistent and impactful.

• Manage creative project timelines and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of creative innovation.

• Present creative concepts and strategies to senior leadership and clients, clearly articulating ideas and solutions.

• Uphold the integrity and quality of the brand’s visual identity across all communication channels.

  Requirements

• 8-10+ years’ experience of leading creative for a large relevant, consumer brand/or in retail/hospitality preferred

• Experience leading an in-house creative studio or similar environment.

• Demonstrated strong creative background (graphic design, copywriting, production, etc.) including expertise with Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

• Demonstrated track record of team management experience including growing, developing and building teams and people.

• Experience working cross-functionally and managing workflow effectively.

• Demonstrated excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

• Experience across mediums (video, photo, interactive, print, etc.) and channels (TV, digital advertising, web, email, mobile, social media, on-property, etc.).

• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, excel and be at ease with ambiguity and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to roll-up sleeves, get into the details and execute work alongside the team.

• Demonstrated team player, motivated to build internal excitement and alignment.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% to client's locations across the country.

• Willingness to work out of corporate office located in Chicago, IL (hybrid)
