Camping World Corporate Recruiter in Chicago, Illinois

Camping World & Good Sam is seeking a driven, innovative Corporate Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. You will partner with the hiring managers across multiple departments in our corporate offices including areas (e.g., Human Resources, Legal, Finance, Information Technology, Marketing, and leadership positions) to fill their open roles, build talent pipelines with top-tier candidates and anticipate hiring needs in an efficient and thoughtful manner. As a Corporate Recruiter, you will focus on associate and candidate experience, building relationships, and supporting the growing needs of the business. This position will be located in Chicago, IL and will work a hybrid schedule of three days a week in the office, and will report directly to the Director, Talent Acquisition.

Corporate Recruiter Responsibilities

  • Candidate Experience: Provide a top notch candidate experience by recognizing that candidates are people first. Regularly stay in touch with candidates throughout the entire process and ensure that whether a candidate receives a position with Camping World or not, that he/she will remain a customer and interested in working for us in the future. Resolves questions and/or issues in a timely manner and provides excellent customer service.

  • Hiring Manager Experience: Build trusting and strong partnerships with hiring managers by providing a high-quality experience. Spend time really learning the business/function you support and working with managers to understand forecasts and anticipate upcoming hiring needs. Execute an effective communication plan to ensure hiring managers and key stakeholders are always with current, meaningful knowledge about their open roles, pipelines, and how challenges are being addressed.

  • Full Cycle Recruiting: Conduct intake conversations with hiring managers, develop and execute a harmonious the recruiting strategy for the role. Identify innovating sourcing opportunities and build strong pipelines. Conduct thoughtful screening conversations, present candidates to hiring managers with rationale, that conveys and understanding of the unique aspects of the role. Be a brand advocate, learn and effectively convey our total rewards program to candidates and negotiate appropriate offers. Support high-volume requisitions across departments, confidential searches, and unique hiring projects. Ensure effective onboarding, anticipate, and resolve challenges.

  • Proactive Recruiting & Sourcing: Think beyond platforms to develop innovative sourcing strategies to create a consistent flow of diverse top-tier candidates relevant to all aspects of the business. Develop deep relationships with leaders, nearby colleges and universities, high schools, and community partners. Leverage reputable platforms appropriate for the role (LinkedIn, Indeed, Direct Employers, Community Partnerships, Diversity Sourcing sites, and our ATS). Network and build relationships in the industry and the community to enhance proactive sourcing. Strategize with members of Talent Acquisition team on the best way to fill open requisitions.

  • Represent Our Brand: Be a brand advocate with every interaction. Elevate candidate experience by working with the Director, Talent Acquisition and other leaders to identify and execute consistent brand standards. Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to develop accurate, engaging recruiting materials, including job postings.

  • Deliver Results: Be accountable to key metrics including time to fill, sourcing effectiveness, quality of hires, and hiring manager and candidate satisfaction.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of 1-3 years of full life cycle recruiting

  • Experience in recruiting for corporate-level roles including technical positions.

  • Previous experience working in an agency or search firm is preferred.

  • Knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and fair employment practices is a plus

  • Experience in building relationships with community organizations

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively

  • Strong understanding of HR software solutions, including but not limited to: Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Resources Information System (HRIS), and Human Capital Management (HCM).

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

  • Up to 10% travel required

Pay Range:

$64,575.00-$96,862.50 Annual
