Aspen Dental Business Systems Analyst - Accounting in Chicago, Illinois

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain existing legacy accounting related system which includes quality assurance, problem solving, researching user issues, performing upgrades and maintenance, and implementing system modifications.

  • Provide documentation for assigned area of responsibilities.

  • Analyze business process issues and provides consulting assistance to system users, conducts research on possible solutions and makes recommendations based on findings; develop proposals that outline feasibility and costs; suggests, designs, tests, implements and evaluates solution.

  • Develops a variety of applications, procedures, reports, scripts and or interfaces.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

  • Experience working in cloud computing environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Experience with Fintech or working in the accounting domain.

  • Experience building data pipeline on cloud-based solution with modern Python.

  • Experience with legacy ETL SSIS tool and SSRS reporting services

  • Extensive experience with SQL, ideally SQL Server or PostgreSQL data solutions.

  • Experience using project management tools like Atlassian JIRA

  • Experience in either one of the programming language: Python/C#/VB

  • Experienced with transactional DB, immutable DB, and data warehouse

  • Database management and/or administration principles

Salary: $76,000 - 100,000/year
