Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Senior Business Analyst for one of our largest financial cilents in Charlotte, NC, or Chicago, IL to join a dyanmic team supporting a large banking platform. This role requires a hybrid between technical and functinal expertise, providing hands-on support for management reporting, database querying, and close collaboration with multiple technical teams. They will be the link between stakeholders and these teams, ensuring business needs are effectively translated into actionable solutions. Day to day responsibilities include:

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs, particularly in management reporting.

• Database Querying: Retrieve and analyze data from various databases to support business analysis and reporting functions.

• Collaboration with Development Teams: Partner with technical teams to communicate business needs, review technical implementations, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Technical Analysis: Dive into statistics, financial data, and operational metrics to provide insightful analysis and recommendations.

• Requirement Translation: Relay technical and functional requests between business units and IT teams, ensuring both parties understand the scope and objectives.

• Documentation: Create detailed documentation of business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to guide development efforts.

Pay Range $58.27/hr - $68.27/hr

Skills and Requirements

* 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst -- needs to be very seasoned!

* Expertise in management reporting and understanding of reporting tools and processes

* Strong written and verbal communcation skills

* Experience with SQL/Data Visualization/Reporting Platforms

* Hybrid experience between a Functional/Technical analysis roles, capability to understand business and IT Perspectives * Previous experience with large scale banking platforms

* Knowledge of Agile methodologies/exposure working in an Agile environment null
