We are on the hunt for a Business Analyst, an integral role within our Asset Management industry, based in Chicago, Illinois. The individual will be an essential link between the business and technology teams, focusing on Alternatives and Fund Accounting. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity on site in Chicago.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately translate business requirements to the tech teams

• Work in Agile Scrum teams for effective project execution

• Handle analysis of Alternatives and Fund Accounting

• Use iCapital tools for efficient onboarding processes

• Maintain a general understanding of capital markets for better decision making

• Perform gap analysis to identify possible improvements

• Use SQL skills for data management and manipulation

• Use Atlassian Jira, CRM, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word for various tasks

• Conduct AB Testing for continuous improvement of business processes

• Manage claim administration effectively

• Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira software.

• Experience with CRM systems.

• Ability to conduct Gap Analysis.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

• Familiarity with AB Testing procedures.

• Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.

• Knowledge of Business Process Functions.

• Experience in creating Business Requirement Documents.

• Background in Claim Administration.

• Experience in Fund Accounting/Capital Markets.

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with JIRA software.

• Ability to conduct Analysis of Alternatives.
