Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in Chicago, Illinois. The role primarily revolves around corporate law, specializing in structural and corporate matters related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity offerings, restructurings, entity selection, and formation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions

• Handle legal matters related to entity selection and formation

• Manage corporate issues related to debt and equity offerings

• Facilitate the legal process of corporate restructurings

• Handle legal aspects of divestitures

• Manage complaint handling and claim administration within the context of corporate law

• Work with consumer electronics companies on their corporate transactions

• Deliver legal services with a strong work ethic and dedication

• Take on significant responsibility on various projects

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of general corporate matters. Requirements • Must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Should be admitted to practice law in the state.

• Proven experience in handling claim administration is necessary.

• Demonstrable experience in complaint handling is required.

• Must have in-depth knowledge of consumer electronics.

• Proficiency in handling corporate transactions is a must.

• Must possess experience in mergers and acquisitions (M& A).

• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and prioritize tasks efficiently.

• Must display high ethical standards and professional integrity.

• Proficient in using legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.

• Demonstrated commitment to providing superior customer service.

• Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and legal changes.
