*Position Description: *

The Motus Technology team is looking for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking, motivated engineer to join our development team. Our server applications use Docker, Java, and PostgreSQL to provide a scalable, flexible microservice architecture that support our web clients, native mobile applications, and public-facing REST APIs.

To be successful in this role you must be customer-focused, results-oriented, have a positive attitude, and a strong desire to solve problems.

*Position Duties: *

• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, developers, and architects in conceptualizing and developing new software applications and improvements

{=html} <!-- --> - Explore the use of emerging application development software products, libraries, and standards in support of new product development efforts

{=html} <!-- --> - Write and maintain clear and concise documentation of new and existing systems

{=html} <!-- --> - Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades

{=html} <!-- --> - Defines technical requirements based on business requirements

{=html} <!-- --> - Conducts code evaluations

{=html} <!-- --> - Participates in setting team standards and best practices

{=html} <!-- --> - Research new technologies, fix bugs, implement prototypes, and develop core functionalities

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor\'s degree with significant programming coursework preferred

{=html} <!-- --> - 1-2 years of experience with demonstrated proficiency in software development

{=html} <!-- --> - Experience creating mobile applications

{=html} <!-- --> - Experience with Kotlin or Swift

{=html} <!-- --> - A basic understanding of REST API protocols

{=html} <!-- --> - A strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts is a plus
