Job Summary

The Rustandy Center\'s mission is to advance research, promote innovation, and develop the people and practices to accelerate solving the social problems confronting our world. This position focuses on supporting the Rustandy Center\'s program goals to 1) equip Booth students and alumni to increase their social impact by applying their business and management skills, knowledge, and experience; and 2) be the leading university-based launch pad and knowledge center for the next generation of social entrepreneurs and the people who fund them.

The Associate Director of Programs and Data Strategy manages the design, planning, and administration for multiple Rustandy Center programs and oversees the development and overall quality of event and program data processes. Responsibilities include strategic planning, program development, event execution, research, and stakeholder engagement for both established and new programs. It is based on the Hyde Park campus with occasional events and meetings downtown and throughout the Chicagoland area.

Responsibilities

Leads designing, planning and execution of multiple student- and alumni-facing social sector engagement programs. Specific programs within the Associate Director\'s portfolio may shift depending on team needs and student and alumni interests.

Designs and develops events, experiential programming, and content to engage students and alumni in the social sector. These currently include but are not limited to the Civic Chicago program, Design Your Impact Journey workshop series, and philanthropy-related programming.

Leads the development and execution of event series including Virtual On Board and Innovating for Social Equity in collaboration with Senior Director. Leads creation of experiential learning opportunities for specific audiences, such as Neubauer Civic Scholars, managing external stakeholder relationships

Designs innovative new programming, especially in the area of Civic Engagement where the University has sharpened focus.

Develops and facilitates workshops, discussions, and ther content for students, alumni, and other key stakeholders.

Evaluates and researches student and alumni needs, prospective partners\' interests, and trends at the intersection of business and the social sector in order to evolve and develop impactful programming.

In partnership with the Assistant Director for Events, manages all aspects of event execution, including space reservation, catering needs, attention to attendee needs, virtual event platforms, and coordination with audio visual and facilities teams,

Works with the marketing team to promote events, programs and other social sector engagement opportunities to students and alumni, including creation of materials such as posters, brochures, flyers, surveys, etc.

Supervises Assistant Director responsible for the newly funded (\$1 million) and expanding Golub Capital Board Fellows Program and additional portfolio of nonprofit engagement programs.

Oversees the design, execution, evaluation, and iteration of an expanded set of GCBF workshops and activities.

Guides the Assistant Director\'s redesign of Alumni Board Connect program and new self-service portal for alumni, along with ongoing Nonprofit Leadership Circles for alumni.
