Essential Functions
- Serves as Assistant Guardian.
- Serves as second in command regarding guardianship services.
- Serves as full line supervisor.
- Serves as liaison with the Departments Psychiatric Hospitalization Unit.
- With authority to commit the Department to a specific course of action, represents the Department before other state agencies and governmental entities, private and public organizations, and other community and professional groups.
- Serves as program monitor for Statewide Consent Unit contracts, including those for the review of psychotropic medications and for the review of recommended major medical treatment for youth by pediatric consultants.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
