The Application Sales Manager (Print Optimisation & Planning) is tasked with driving sales of Phoenix across the North American region, with a specific focus on the packaging and label sectors. In this role, they will be responsible for advocating this pioneering product, guiding customers through a transformative journey towards improved automation, quality enhancement and costs savings. Furthermore, they serve as the technical authority for the Phoenix product, ensuring effective customer communication, collaborating with the sales team to create and deliver customized sales presentations, identifying opportunities for additional sales, and offering comprehensive pre and post-sales support. You will be expected to travel extensively, accounting for approximately 50% of your time throughout the region.

What you will do:

  • Business Requirements Analysis - Take the lead in analyzing business requirements through methods such as workflow audits and comprehensive customer file analysis. This process yields a well-defined project scope and an estimate of ROI/value proposition.

  • Solution Design - Collaborate closely with Sales Account Managers to transform business requirements into well-conceived business solutions and engaging demonstrations.

  • Sales Opportunity Identification - Identify and drive sales opportunities for consultative services and system integration, demonstrating a proactive approach to meeting customer needs.

  • Thought Leadership - Establish yourself as a thought leader in your solution area, applying your knowledge effectively.

  • Colleague Support and Coaching - Offer support and coaching to colleagues involved in complex projects, fostering teamwork and skill development.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Core requirements

  • Educational Background: Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.

  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate advanced technical skills in production planning, along with proficiency in Label and Folding Carton sectors. Have in-depth knowledge of Esko's software solutions.

  • Business Acumen: Exhibit expert knowledge in business processes, with a focus on ROI-based decision-making models.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
