Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing customer accounts, processing credit applications, and maintaining up-to-date records. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage customer accounts

• Process credit applications with precision and efficiency

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer credit

• Address and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner

• Conduct B2B collections and cash collections

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when needed

• Ensure accurate billing and follow through to collections

• Utilize your skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) to enhance the efficiency of our operations. Requirements • Must possess a strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience with B2B collections is required

• Proficiency in Cash Collections is mandatory

• Demonstrable ability to maintain accurate records of all Receivables

• Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements

• Proficiency in Office software, specifically Excel, and accounting software

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to work independently, manage large volumes of work, and meet tight deadlines

• Proactive problem-solving and negotiation skills

• Good organizational and time-management abilities

• Must have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to handle sensitive, complex, and confidential information with discretion
