Meta Account Manager, Mid-Market, E-commerce in Chicago, Illinois

Summary:

The Account Management team is a sales team that is part of Meta’s Small and Medium Business Group. This team is focused on helping small and medium sized businesses grow by optimizing their advertising across Meta’s family of apps and services. Account Managers are directly responsible for building relationships and helping clients drive business results on Meta through consultation, education, sales, and support. Ideal candidates will drive marketing strategy and display a willingness to execute the tactics.

Required Skills:

Account Manager, Mid-Market, E-commerce Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrate a commitment to consultative sales in service of client goals

  2. Become an expert in Meta’s solutions for businesses of all sizes and adapt recommendations quickly to suit varying client needs

  3. Provide dedicated account management to strategic advertising clients and agencies

  4. Have a fundamental understanding of vertical(s)/market(s) industry and client’s business model

  5. Develop and implement programs to improve the client/agency experience

  6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner

  7. Identify opportunities to improve ad products and the customer experience

  8. Work cross-functionally within sales and other Meta organizations to drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction

  9. Work on initiatives with limited and defined scope.

  10. Build proficiency and working knowledge of Meta measurement solutions.

  11. Build and continue to refine your point of view on Meta products through regular self-education and discovery

  12. Prioritize book of business based on understanding of client needs

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA/BS degree or Meta Social Media Marketing Professional Certification

  2. 4+ years of experience in account management, brand/performance marketing, digital marketing, sales, or consulting.

  3. Proven communication and presentation skills.

  4. Experience cultivating sales skills and client relationships.

  5. Proven experience of finding solutions to complex issues, embracing ambiguity and driving impact

  1. Experience influencing C-level executives to build effective and impactful relationships.

  2. Experience managing time-sensitive projects through to completion while balancing evolving priorities and a diverse range of stakeholders

  3. Experience working with or in support of diverse communities

Public Compensation:

$85,000/year to $126,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
