The University of Chicago\'s Department of Pediatrics, Section of Hematology/Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation, seeks full-time faculty members at any rank. The appointees will contribute to patient care, medical education, and scholarship, and direct Pediatric Neuro-Oncology, in the latter capacity developing a Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Program with the overarching goal of enhancing its clinical and academic excellence. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.

The appointees will join the Chicago Neuro-oncology Program, a multidisciplinary program comprising faculty members from the Sections of Hematology/Oncology and Child Neurology in the Department of Pediatrics, the Department of Neurosurgery, the Department of Radiation Oncology, and the University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Chicago and affiliated sites: Advocate Children\'s Hospital, and NorthShore University Health System. The group is responsible for the diagnosis and management of children in the largest pediatrics program in the state of Illinois, the Chicagoland Children\'s Health Alliance (CCHA). The appointees will join a vibrant and distinguished community of faculty colleagues and learners in UChicago Medicine (UCM), the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, and the University of Chicago and its affiliates. We especially welcome applicants who are accomplished program builders and leaders with proven strong clinical trials and/or translational science abilities, collaborative skills, and experienced mentors willing to pursue the strong opportunities for academic and clinical development of the program. We also welcome applicants experienced in or who have completed subspeciality training in neuro-oncology.

The University of Chicago cares for many children, adolescents and young adults with cancer and non-malignant blood diseases as part of the CCHA. Care is provided at Comer Children\'s Hospital, our outpatient clinic in Hyde Park, and at CCHA satellite clinics across the Chicagoland region.

The University of Chicago Medicine has been at the forefront of medical care since 1927. Located in historic Hyde Park, the primary medical campus includes the Center for Care and Discovery, Comer Children\'s Hospital, Bernard A. Mitchell Hospital for adult inpatient care, and the Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine (DCAM) totaling more than 550 beds in service and net patient care revenues over \$1.4 billion. New ambulatory facilities are located in Orland Park and the South Loop, and the Ingalls Health System has recently integrated into the network.

Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a MD or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board certified in Pediatrics, and 4) be Board certified in Hematology/Oncology.
