The University of Chicago\'s Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology, is searching for a full-time Assistant Professor in the area of Electrophysiology. The appointee will have clinical responsibilities predominantly at our main campus and at affiliated off-sites if needed. Clinical responsibilities include performing cardiac electrophysiology procedures and having outpatient cardiology clinic, inpatient service, and consultation. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be ABIM Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and/or Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
