About the Role:
As a Technical Enablement Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Customer Solutions Group (CSG) in the AMER region is fully equipped with the technical knowledge, tools, and processes needed to drive customer success. Reporting to the Global CSG Role Excellence Leader, you will work closely with CSG leadership, as well as engineering, product, and marketing teams, to deliver impactful enablement programs.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead technical enablement initiatives that enhance the technical proficiency, operational readiness, and effectiveness of CSG teams. You will be instrumental in new product introduction (NPI), ongoing technical training, and regional enablement strategies, ensuring CSG teams are prepared to support customers with Confluent’s latest products, platforms, and solutions.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that requires a deep understanding of technical enablement, field readiness, and cloud-native technologies.
What You Will Do:
Own AMER CSG Technical Readiness: Lead enablement efforts for new product releases, go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and operational processes that impact CSG success.
Collaborate with CSG Leadership: Work closely with regional leadership to align technical enablement programs with business objectives and field needs.
Develop and Execute Enablement Programs: Create structured training initiatives to enhance technical, operational, and professional skills.
Lead New Product Enablement: Ensure the CSG team is fully prepared to support new product launches by developing and delivering comprehensive technical training.
Content Strategy & Development: Partner with CSG & Product to curate, review, and refine enablement materials for technical audiences.
Drive Regional Enablement Initiatives: Plan and execute quarterly training sessions, readiness events, and ongoing learning programs for the AMER region.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with technical instructors, learning designers, and cross-functional teams to optimize enablement strategies.
Measure and Improve Enablement Impact: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for enablement effectiveness, collect feedback, and continuously refine programs.
Represent CSG in Product Development: Participate in product architecture reviews, identifying enablement gaps and addressing technical risks.
Optimize Content Lifecycle: Ensure enablement materials remain up-to-date, scalable, and relevant through structured content management processes.
What You Will Bring:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (MBA preferred but not required).
7+ years of experience leading technical enablement programs for customer-facing technical teams.
OR 5+ years in technical program management or technical marketing.
OR 5+ years in a technical role (e.g., Professional Services, Sales Engineering).
Experience working with SaaS products, with the ability to understand and communicate complex concepts effectively.
Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working directly with leadership and cross-functional teams.
Project management proficiency, with the ability to prioritize and drive multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Strong analytical mindset, leveraging data-driven insights to improve enablement strategies.
Ability to influence without direct authority, ensuring alignment across global teams.
Self-motivated and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

This position has an annual estimated salary of $137,300- $161,280 and a competitive equity package. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
