About Us:
We are a Heavy/Highway General Contractor based in Chestertown Maryland. The Company owns and maintains a fleet of over 300 pieces of equipment used in the construction of utilities (sewer, water, storm drain), earthmoving, and asphalt paving with several gravel pits and two asphalt plants.
About the Role:
Our Material Quality Control Technicians are responsible for sampling and testing production materials.
Requirements:
- Pass a pre-employment drug test.
Preferred Experience and Education:
Relevant job experience
Strong math background
Maintain knowledge of Standard Test Methods
Maintain laboratory and equipment
Physical Requirements:
Must work in all kinds of weather; job includes indoor and outdoor work; long hours and occasional weekends required.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs on a daily basis.
