Job Title: Entry-Level Mig Welder
Job Description
We are seeking an entry-level Mig Welder to join our custom fabrication facility specializing in non-ferrous fabrication. As a preferred partner for industries such as defense, aerospace, pharmaceutical, and automotive, our facility offers diverse welding projects ranging from small to very large pieces. The role primarily involves Mig welding on sheet metal, stainless steel, and steel, along with fabrication and fitting on fixtures and forming.
Responsibilities
Perform Mig welding on sheet metal, stainless steel, and steel.
Engage in fabrication and fitting on fixtures and forming.
Set up and run welding machines.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Understand and use different gases with various welds.
Work on projects in flat and horizontal positions.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience as a Mig Welder.
Familiarity with blueprints.
Experience working with sheet metal, stainless steel, and steel.
Ability to set up and run welding machines.
Knowledge of different gases used in welding.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prototype experience.
Relevant certifications.
Ability to read blueprints.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean and climate-controlled. The facility includes designated areas for different tasks, such as a custom fabrication area, a CNC area, and a welding area. The first shift operates from 6 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, with 8-hour shifts on Fridays. Rarely, work may be required on Saturdays depending on project demands.
