Director (Securities Services) for BNP Paribas Financial Services LLC in Chesterbrook, PA to track objectives and project completion deadlines constituting the program, ensuring compliance with the Cost-Quality-Time triangle. Ensure the delivery of various deliverables defined in the existing project management methodology for the program. Manage the relationship with all program stakeholders and clients. Assess and anticipate potential risks over the course of the program. Escalate alerts and produce appropriate and high-quality reporting. Ensure presentation to program governance bodies. Oversee and coordinate with Project Managers for each project that is part of the overall program. Work with business stakeholders to prioritize projects and application change requests. Oversee progress of application releases through Requirement Analysis, Functional Analysis, Development, and Testing phases of Software Development Life Cycle. Define test strategy for multiple projects and monitors overall testing progress.
Requires: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology (or foreign equivalent) plus six (6) years of experience as an IT Developer, Business Systems Analyst, Project Manager or related occupation within the financial services industry or, alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology (or foreign equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as an IT Developer, Business Systems Analyst, Project Manager or related occupation within the financial services industry. Specific skills/other requirements - Demonstrated Expertise (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated expertise (DE) designing and developing software applications in a programming language; (DE) maintaining IT applications, including experience in requirements gathering, functional specifications, and process flow diagrams and procedures; (DE) performing business analysis related to applications used by financial institutions in areas of fund accounting, custody, asset setup, corporate actions, tax, domestic settlements, income, or cash processing; and (DE) working as IT Project Manager, delivering projects initiated by internal and external clients.
