Robert Half has partnering with a thriving client on their search for a Sr. Supply Chain Manager with manufacturing industry experience. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse personnel, purchasing agents, and production planners. The Sr. Supply Chain Manager’s primary duties will consist of overseeing and negotiating the purchasing process, managing the current vendor list of activities, ensuring adequate materials are on hand and shipped/received in a timely manner. The ideal Sr. Supply Chain Manager for this role should have excellent communication skills, great sourcing skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

What you get to participate in

· Lead daily procurement, planning, shipping/receiving activities

· Monitor full supply chain cycle

· Negotiate contracts and pricing

· Develop an accurate system to monitor orders

· Review and oversee supplier pricing

· Create leads and sourcing strategies

· Monitor raw materials flow

· Research and analyze procurement trends

· Provide forecasts to internal/external vendors

· Maintain strong supplier relationships

· Special projects as needed

Requirements

The ideal Sr. Supply Chain Manager will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.

Other requirements for the Sr. Supply Chain Manager role include and are not limited to:

· 10+ years of purchasing management experience

· CPIM certification preferred

· ERP and Microsoft software knowledge

· Light travel required
