We are currently seeking a Lead Process Engineer at our Chester Mill. Process Engineers at Kimberly-Clark initiate designs, develop, optimize and problem solve manufacturing processes in a manner that meets safety and performance expectations. The incumbent reports to the Engineering Team Leader and receives direction in the form of broad assignment objectives. The incumbent will be located at the Chester Mill but may be required to travel to other sites as needed in support sector projects.  The successful candidate will support a production asset and will receive support requests in the form of general asset needs from a Platform Team Leader.

Responsibilities: * Provide support and guidance to team members and collaborate with other Process Engineers in a high-speed converting production including web handling, tissue winding, raw material management, and centerline process and systems. * Create strategies for mill process improvements to keep KPIs on target and aligned with company objectives. * Manage equipment performance data in collaboration with operations personnel. * Support single or multiple product or process improvement projects with a financial scope of up to $1 million from conception through commercialization. * Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation of design, development and optimization of converting and manufacturing equipment processes to meet unit objectives. * Develop knowledge and skills to be recognized for expertise and functional leadership in application of engineering principles, scientific analysis and project management while providing advice and counsel to others. * Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner.  Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines.  Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance and other personnel. * Seek, recognize, define and solve problems to achieve unit objectives.  Identify complex technical issues to determine root cause. * Participate in the development of others within the area of the incumbent's expertise.

Basic Qualifications: * Candidates must possess a bachelor's or advanced degree in Chemical and/or Pulp and Paper Engineering from an accredited College or University and 5 years of experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments.  * Candidates with an Associate, Bachelor, or advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline and possessing applicable experience may also be considered. * Strong experience using manufacturing analysis tools, such as: SPC statistical process control; design of experiments; process capability studies; Six Sigma; Others. * A recognized expert in manufacturing processes with a demonstrated ability to translate that knowledge into execution of process an capacity improvements in major expense and capital projects. * A demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project results within required timeframes.

Preferred Qualifications: * Experience and expertise with Kimberly-Clark manufacturing process en gineering technology, procedures, processes and products. * Experience working with external technical service providers. * Evidence of continuing self-development.
