ManpowerGroup Warehouse Associate in Chesapeake, Virginia

Our client, a leading aluminum service center specialized in providing aluminum products to the high tech, marine, transportation, manufacturing, and aerospace industries, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the operations team supporting various departments. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, strong attention to detail, and solid time management skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Chesapeake, VA

Pay Range: $17-18 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Perform general warehouse duties including machine operation and order fulfillment.

  • Stage materials and monitor active jobs to ensure efficient workflow.

  • Prepare items for shipment and assist in shipping staging activities.

  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a productive work environment.

  • Ensure quality standards are met in all tasks performed.

What's Needed?

  • Solid interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and decision-making abilities.

  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and qualify to operate an overhead crane and forklift.

  • Steady work history

  • No criminal history and ability to pass a 5-panel drug screen.
